My Story
My journey into real estate started in an elementary school classroom. I loved teaching, but I could see a ceiling ahead, both in income and in time. I wanted the kind of freedom that lets you pursue what you care about without constant worry about money. That vision became Bluetail Real Estate.
It started small, with my first rental properties: a single-family home and a fourplex. From there it grew into something bigger, a way to provide real housing solutions in my community. At Bluetail, we find properties in Albuquerque that need some care and attention, then transform them into safe, comfortable places to live. For homeowners and landlords who want to sell, we offer a straightforward alternative, no agents, no hefty fees, no endless open houses.
The work isn't always easy, and that's part of why I love it. My goal is to create beautiful, functional homes and strong financial returns backed by real property, while building relationships and helping others grow wealth through real estate.
Outside of work, I feel most like myself outdoors. I grew up camping across New Mexico, and these days you'll find me on a bike, a trail, or a rock face, usually somewhere quiet you have to work to reach. I'm also almost always in the middle of a good book.
